Danielle is being nominated because of her sustained hard work, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in her role as Operations and HR Support Coordinator. She has developed high competence in managing the department鈥檚 teaching schedule and her HR duties while continuing to take on new tasks. Most tellingly, she eagerly jumps in to handle time-sensitive tasks that are important to the department, regardless of whether they strictly fall under her job description.听

Laramie oversees every aspect of the Materials Science and Engineering Program that includes all aspects related to our students, our program faculty, our finances, managing our physical space, and supervising the graduate program advisor. Laramie continually demonstrates a strong commitment to the program, performing tasks with the highest integrity and to the highest level. Laramie is always thinking of ways that we can improve and expand the program to make it a better place for our students and faculty. The success of the MSE program is largely attributed to Laramie鈥檚 strong commitment and dedication to the program.听
