Biography
Rachel is currently the Director of Capital Projects and Planning at the University of Denver. Her professional experience also includes Active Duty U.S.Coast Guard and positions with CU Boulder for 7 years. Her expertise includes project management in the design and construction engineering industry, within Facilities Management organizations supporting military bases and University owners. Rachel earned a BS & MS in Civil Engineering from CU Boulder and a graduate certificate in Leadership & Management from the Engineering Management Program in 2015.

What made you decide to pursue a degree or certificate in Engineering Management?
I completed the Leadership & Management certificate to add formal course work to my leadership experience since I already have my MS. Additionally, as an employee I received tuition benefit.
Why did you choose the Engineering Management Program at CU Boulder?
I was an employee and it is a very reputable program with industry faculty, not just academics.
