Q&A

What made you decide to pursue a minor in Engineering Management?
I wanted something that helped connect the business side of engineering to the math/science side.

Why did you choose the Engineering Management Program at CU Boulder?
I was already attending undergrad there.

How did the program help you in your career?
It's opened my mind to leadership, management, and even specific Systems Engineering practices.

What was your favorite graduate EMEN class/professor? Why?
My favorite class was Engineering Economics because it connected the financial side to the engineering side which isn't commonly discussed in other courses.

What advice would you give a new student in the program?
Absorb all you can because the knowledge will definitely come in handy as your career/life progresses.

How would you summarize your experience with the program?
My experience in the minor was like a flight at a brewery. I got a taste of a bunch of different aspects of the program and I hope to dive deeper into one or two areas in future studies.
