My company's tuition reimbursement program allowed me to pursue my EMP degree to develop my passion and skills in the areas of leadership and technical management.

Why did you choose the Engineering Management Program at CU Boulder?
The EMP program has a great reputation in the aerospace industry and allowed me to stick close to my Colorado and University of Colorado roots.

How did the program help you in your career?
The program is a stepping stone into authentic and effective leadership positions in my workplace.

What was your favorite graduate EMEN class/professor? Why?
Ron Duren in Leading Oneself. His authentic and candid take on leadership, self-awareness, and self-development were eye-opening and very helpful in my learning path.

What advice would you give a new student in the program?
The leadership courses were excellent, take as many as you can.

How would you summarize your experience with the program?
A very informative journey through a number of different leadership and management disciplines. I entered this program knowing leadership was my passion but not quite knowing how to perform as a leader. I left feeling confident that I could step into a leadership position anywhere and use my foundation of knowledge to get me started.
