Donate household itemsÌý
The Give & Go Donation Drive at CU Boulder assists over 7,000 students in 26 halls during their on-campus residence departure. The significantly large amount of waste produced during this time can end up in landfills. The goal is to capture as many usable items as possible in good working condition. This program increases awareness and provides the opportunity to participate in local charity, contemplate responsible purchasing in the future and decrease disposal of usable items.
CUÌýcampus residence halls and Bear Creek will have access to donation areas fromÌýApril to May.

In May 2024, CU Recycling donated over 42,000 pounds of clothing, furniture, food, textbooks and other usable items from students moving out of the residence halls during our annual Give and Go Donation Drive. Many of the items collected from this event go back to the local community, items like hangers, mirrors, and fans are stored by residence halls to be redistributed to those who arrive in the fall.
