Diversity and Inclusion Summit
CU Boulder hosted diversity and inclusion summits twice a year for more than 30 years with the purpose of uniting the campus and broader city of Boulder communities for discussions about important diversity, equity and inclusion issues. Between 2007 and 2021, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement organized the summits, which drew hundreds of students, staff and faculty to panel discussions, keynote addresses and workshops led by faculty, staff, students and experts from higher education, local, city and state government, the news media, the publishing world and the nonprofit and the corporate sectors.
Shared governance organizations – the Boulder Faculty Assembly, the CU Student Government, Staff Council and the Graduate and Professional Student Government – are working together to determine the future of the summit, and more information will appear on this page when it becomes available.
