If you're involved in research inÌýany capacity at the university, we welcome you to our newest training about indirect costs—also known as facilities and administrationÌý(F&A) costs.

The development and negotiation of the F&A costÌýrateÌýis a complex process that only happens every 4-5 years. In this training, we willÌýexplain the purpose of the F&A cost rateÌýand provide an overview of how the rate is calculated using base year expenses.

With our next base year, FY22,Ìýquickly approaching, we look forward to working with units (like yours!) across the campus to gather essential data about research, including spaces, equipment depreciation and library use.
