Sacred Responses to Climate Change: Seeking Common Ground听

This inter-faith panel discussion focuses on sacred responses to environmental crisis and especially climate change. Panelists will discuss how religious ethics are shaping environmental ethics and can offer bases for strong action in response to the global environmental challenges we face, as well as the social challenges associated with environmental crisis. Speakers will address the topic from Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, and Indigenous perspectives. Panelists include:

Each panelist will present on the topic from their particular perspective, for approximately 15 minutes. We will then have a break, followed by a moderated discussion among the panelists, expanding then to a moderated discussion including questions from audience members.This event is sponsored by the Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies,听 Department of Religious Studies, Environmental Studies and Ethnic Studies.听
