Come meetÌý CNAIS faculty Clint Carroll from the Department of Ethnic Studies. Clint is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and says this about his research:

“I study the ability of indigenous nations to assert sovereignty over their lands and the extent to which this enables the perpetuation of unique ecological knowledges and practices.â€Ìý

In 2015 Clint published his book “Roots of Our Renewal Ethnobotany and Cherokee Environmental Governance.â€Ìý
