Shahzad (Shah) Bhatti is a senior instructorÌýwho joined the Department of Information Science at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in fallÌý2022. He strives for excellence in teaching and is interested in quantitative reasoning, computational system and machine learning, which lie at the intersection of technology and business/personal decision making.ÌýÌý

Shah has over twenty-fiveÌýyears of experience in industry at companies such as NCR, StorageTek, HP and Samsung. He has hands on development experience in embedded software systems and multi-tier web-based solution. For the last tenÌýyears, he has been teaching computer science. He was an assistant professor of computer science at FAST-NUCES, a full time faculty member in computer science at Front Range Community College and a part-time adjunct professor in ICT as the University of Denver.Ìý

Shah’s graduate work focused on wireless sensor networks. He earned a MS in computer science (MSCS) at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. He was also a candidate for a PhD in computer science, but did not complete his dissertation, so remains ABD. Shah earned an MBA from the University of ColoradoÌýBoulder. He earned a MSÌýin computer engineering (MSCE) from the National Technological University (NTU).
