A short film called Laboratory Conditions that听Robert Scheid (Jour)听edited (and got to act in as well) is making the film festival rounds. The film stars Marisa Tomei, Minnie Driver and Paulo Costanzo. Robert acts, edits and teaches editing and all things Apple in Los Angeles and remotely via the Internet.

Eric Dieter (Advert)听补苍诲听Jason Mitchell (Advert鈥�09)听founded Movement Strategy when they were at CU Boulder. The company, which turned 10 years old last summer,听is a social-led creative agencyand has offices in Denver, New York City and Los Angeles.

The Denver Post recently听听entrepreneur and Arvada native听Scott Spears (Comm). He owns multiple businesses in Olde Town Arvada: Super Zoom Bang Bang, Scrumptious, Sock, and School House Kitchen and Libations.

Alexander Kirk (Jour)听is now a newscast director at KUSA-TV 9NEWS in Denver. He was previously a newscast director at KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, he was a newscast director at KGWN-TV in Cheyenne, Wyoming from 2011 to 2014.

James S. Singell听(Comm)听just returned to Indianapolis from an assignment in Tokyo as marketing director for Eli Lilly in Tokyo, Japan. He was worked for Lilly since 1992 in a variety of sales and marketing roles in the United States and also in Shanghai, China.

Sisters听Robin Beeck (Comm)听and Kathy Beeck (Eng/PolSci鈥�86) founded the Boulder International Film Festival, which will celebrate its fourteenth year next Feb. 22-25, 2018. The festival has become a hot spot for movie stars and film enthusiasts from around the country.

Rob Decker (Comm)听is a photographer and graphic artist based in Longmont. After working for clients including American Express, Dell, Dick鈥檚 Sporting Goods, the National Association of Realtors, Overstock.com, Stanford University,听The Washington Post听and others, Rob is now focused on his National Park Posters project, creating vintage-style posters for parks around the country.

In April,听Elizabeth Hernandez (Jour)听returned to Boulder to report on the university that taught her a thing or two about reporting. Prior to landing the听Boulder Daily Camera鈥檚 higher education job, Elizabeth dug deep as a fellow at the Center for Public Integrity, an investigative newsroom in Washington, D.C. Before that, she called the听Denver Post听home for two years, first as an intern and then as a staff reporter covering breaking news and education. When she鈥檚 not filling her reporter鈥檚 notebook, she enjoys reading and writing but detests arithmetic.

For more than 40 years,听Bill Lerner听(Comm)听has helped grow and develop iPark, his family鈥檚 parking garage business (previously known as Imperial Parking Systems), into New York鈥檚 largest garage and parking facilities operator. Bill also started the organization Billy4Kids to provide shoes for underprivileged children around the world.听

At the Lippin Group, a brand communications firm,听Pamela Ruben Golum (Comm)听has managed notable client accounts including Dick Wolf and his听Law & Order听franchise, various projects for the Disney Channel and the Emmy Awards. Previously, Pam worked as a journalist with Fairchild Publications and at radio station KBOL in Boulder. She and husband, Rob, live in Los Angeles, California, with their two daughters, Caroline and Jennifer.

Emmy winner听Savannah Sellers (Jour)听was recently announced as co-anchor of听NBC News'听Stay Tuned,听Snapchat鈥檚 first daily news show. Featuring current events and entertainment news, it will run every day at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at 1 p.m. on weekends.听鈥淚t鈥檚 the first daily show of any kind on the platform,鈥� said听Nick Ascheim, senior vice president of digital at听NBC听News. 鈥淪nap has been very public that it wants to invent mobile television.鈥�

After graduating with a Communication and听Psychology double major,听Sean Martin (Comm)听worked as an IT consultant at a Boulder startup. He did this for 2 years before landing back at CU as full time staff doing IT work and project management! Martin now is a System Administrator at Facilities Management at CU Boulder. He is now engaged to his fiance and has settled into a home in Longmont.

Holly Shrewsbury听(Jour)听is currently serving as the Communications Director for Colorado's Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne, and as Interim Communications Director for Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper.

Beth Bartel听(MJour)听works as an outreach specialist at UNAVCO, a Boulder-based scientific facility supporting research in natural hazards and other sectors of Earth science. she dabbles in much of what she worked on in the journalism program at CU--video production, photography, public relations, design, web content, and social media. Her favorite parts of the job are supervising interns, teaching science communication, fostering local, regional, and international partnerships, working at the interface of science and society, promoting diversity, and also trying to drive cultural change through effective communication.

He has called more games than any other St. Paul Saints broadcaster. He was nominated for a Regional Emmy in 2010 and was the runner-up for Broadcaster of the Year in 2013. Three years later Saints broadcaster听Sean Aronson (Jour)听has been recognized by Ballpark Digest as the Broadcaster of the Year in all of minor league baseball.

Kristin Boehm听(Jour)听joined NYC-based Hawkins International Public Relations as digital director in May 2017. Previously, Kristin was Director of Dan Klores Communications' digital division, Editor of People.com and Director of News and Engagement for People, where she oversaw daily digital operations and worked to integrate the print and digital teams to expand content offerings across all platforms.

Dave Briggs听(Jour)听is currently an anchor of "Early Start"听on CNN, airing 4-6 am ET. Prior to this, Dave was an NBC Sports studio host for the Rio Olympics.
