Distinguished Professor Kristi Anseth was selected by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs as the 2023 Outstanding Postdoc Mentor of the Year Award recipient.
Anseth's nomination for this recognition was made听by postdoctoral scholars in the Anseth Research Group,听including Alex Khang, Della Shin, George Tseropoulos, 听Kaustav Bera, Michael Blatchley听and Monica Ohnsorg. Their nominations听highlighted Anseth's exceptional听leadership in mentoring听more than 45 postdoctoral researchers, with 20 of them听now serving as听faculty members at top universities. The group also praised Anseth's听鈥渋ncredible empathy and understanding鈥� with personal matters requiring time away from the lab, as well as her commitment to fostering a healthy听work/life balance. 听
Anseth will be recognized September 20 during a听celebration breakfast听for听National Postdoc Appreciation Week.
