Alum Josh Mabry Selected as Finalist for EMD Millipore's 2015 Life Science Award in Bioseparations
Joshua MabryÌý(PhD ChemEngr ’15) was selected as one of four finalists forÌýEMD Millipore’s 2015 Life Science Award in Bioseparations.
EMD Millipore instituted this new award to recognize the innovation the academic community brings to the life science industry. Award finalists were chosen based on four criteria: level of innovation and novelty; potential for significant impact of the research; clear communication of research to educated, technical non-specialists; and level of scientific rigor of research.
A former ChBE researcher in the lab of Professor Dan Schwartz, Mabry was selected for his work titled, “Single-Molecule Imaging of Bioseparation Processes." While at CU, he won the American Institute of Chemists Graduate Student Award for his single-molecule tracking research.
Mabry currently works as a Principal Scientist in DNA Sequencing at Genia Technologies.
