Nolan received a B.S. degree in Mathematics: Data Science from the University of California Irvine. He is entering IQ Biology through the Department of Computer Science. Nolan completed his first rotation in Orit Peleg's lab in the Department of Computer Science. He completed his second rotation in Kaushik Jayaram's lab in the Department of Mechnaical Engineering. Nolan's third roation was completed with听Chris Link in the Deapartment of Integrative Physiology. For his team rotation, Nolan worked with three other IQ students in Ryan Layer and Kayla Sprenger's Labs in the departments of Computer Science and Chemical and Biologicial Engineering. Nolan joined the Peleg Lab in May 2023.
