      1. CU Ceramics - “CU Ceramics Club: Visiting Artist Series Spring 2024” - Visual Arts Complex 1B20 (Auditorium) & 175 (Ceramics Common Studio) - February 1st and 2nd - 5:30-6:30 PM

            1. Promoted the survey during lunch and announced it on the mic

              1. 19 responses (!!!)

          2. Logistics

            1. Went to Saturday’s conference at 9:30

              1. Complaints about EP&C - didn’t set up food until the guests started arriving, windows didn’t have blinds, and non compostable utensils

              2. Event itself was well managed and executed

            2. Went to Sunday’s conference around 1:30

              1. There was a good handful of people

                1. Faculty and Grad students

              2. People came in and out

              1. It was really good, people went back for seconds

            1. Talked about various topics around CUBASGA

              1. When we were eating, most of the conversations related to the speaker

            2. Very heavy topics were addressed, and those who attended the event were very engaged with everything throughout the event.

            1. Not sure if it was on the poster, but they should’ve noted what the attire would be. 

              1. I  think it was supposed to be business casual

            2. CUBASGA members complained about EP&C causing some difficulties, so maybe some follow up with EP&C would be worthwhile.

            1. They started a bit late, they started at 7 instead of 6

            2. The event was very important to the community.

            3. The whole event was in Arabic but the translation slides had minimal information due to the spoken nature of the event.

            4. It appeared the event was over at 8:30pm; we advise that you fill the time that the event was scheduled for.

            5. If you weren’t severely confused or in CEB, it didn’t appear that you c  ould have access to the translation slides.

            6. The breakdown of the audience appeared to be 50/50 with students and community members, but we can also ask about this.

      4. Vietnamese Student Association - “VSA Culture Show” - GMB - February 24 - 5-10 PM

      1. TEDxCU - “TEDxCU” - March 2nd, 2-7 PM, Macky Auditorium

          1.  Observed some unapproved advertisements posted

          2. Were confused about advertising because we allowed them to not have CEB logo on advertising, so didn’t think they had to send to us

              1. A pair of skis for a student raffle, students not paying for raffle ticket

              2. using the skis to increase attendance, all students attending the event will be added to a free drawing for a pair of skis. This is an idea coming from some of our member's marketing class that centered around the idea of a giveaway to promote events. This is a huge opportunity for us to increase ticket numbers, increasing attendance.

              3. the coffee is for the macky crew and our speakers, which helps us with the budget. The discounted tickets add promotional benefits for students, increasing attendance.
