Post-Event Review
Advertising
Promoted the survey during lunch and announced it on the mic
19 responses (!!!)
Logistics
Went to Saturday’s conference at 9:30
Complaints about EP&C - didn’t set up food until the guests started arriving, windows didn’t have blinds, and non compostable utensils
Event itself was well managed and executed
Went to Sunday’s conference around 1:30
There was a good handful of people
Faculty and Grad students
People came in and out
Food
It was really good, people went back for seconds
Content
Talked about various topics around CUBASGA
When we were eating, most of the conversations related to the speaker
Very heavy topics were addressed, and those who attended the event were very engaged with everything throughout the event.
Future Notes
Not sure if it was on the poster, but they should’ve noted what the attire would be.
I think it was supposed to be business casual
CUBASGA members complained about EP&C causing some difficulties, so maybe some follow up with EP&C would be worthwhile.
Saudi Student Association - “Saudi Foundation Day 2024” - Will Vill - February 24 - 4-10 PM

Updates:
Post-Event Review
Advertising
Logistics
They started a bit late, they started at 7 instead of 6
The event was very important to the community.
The whole event was in Arabic but the translation slides had minimal information due to the spoken nature of the event.
It appeared the event was over at 8:30pm; we advise that you fill the time that the event was scheduled for.
If you weren’t severely confused or in CEB, it didn’t appear that you c ould have access to the translation slides.
The breakdown of the audience appeared to be 50/50 with students and community members, but we can also ask about this.
