M.S. Student Awarded NWRI-AMTA Fellowship for Membrane Technology

Kendra Colyar, a M.S. candidate in our Environmental Engineering program, was awarded a fellowship for membrane technology by the National Water Research Institute and the American Membrane Technology Association. The fellowship provides two years of funding at $10,000 per year for "solving water supply and quality issues through the widespread application of membrane technology. Kendra is working with Dr. John Pellegrino on the optimization of water re-use in biomass-to-fuel processing.
