Newest RiverWare Release, version 8.5

We are pleased to announce the newest release of RiverWare and RiverSMART, version 8.5. Highlights of the new release include:

  • Many Multiple Run Management (MRM) improvements, including:
    • The ability to include optimization runs in MRM.
    • A new "Select Years" input option.
    • Enhancements to the Ensemble Data Tool including new analysis types--Regression and Duration Curves--and the ability to perform analysis directly from the tool.
    • New Ensemble Data Set objects on the workspace to store MRM results for analysis and viewing.
  • A new Optimization Restore Point feature for advanced start functionality.
  • Many usability features including:
    • Synchronized Series Slot scrolling: Scroll through time on one slot dialog and other series slot dialogs scroll too.
    • Window Layouts can now include additional windows and the layouts have improved editing functionality.
    • Preservation of the Application Font between sessions and improvements to how certain workspace settings are saved, either per user or per model.
    • Many other usability and interface improvements
  • Improved Data Management Interface (DMI) features:
    • Upgraded Oracle connection (19c) to Database DMIs and HDB datasets.
    • A new web service dataset to import data from Colorado's Decision Support System (CDSS).
    • New DMI mapping groups for Control File-Executable DMIs.
    • Enhancements to the Database DMI Interface.
  • Improvements to the model file for easier use of Git and other version control systems.
  • Many new and modified Script actions.
  • Many bug and issue fixes.
