RiverWare Training in Gujarat, India, 2017
Edie Zagona and Mitch Clement provided a five-day class, “Advanced River Basin Planning Using RiverWare,” to 30 water resources modelers from multiple regions and agencies in India. The class, held January 30–February 3, 2017, in Ahmedabad, was funded by the World Bank Hydrology Program.
The training was well received, and plans are in progress for a follow-on course this spring. The Gujarat Water Resources Ministry were generous hosts, providing excursions to local historical sites and areas of interest.
