Nominations Sought as Leeds Dean Search Begins

The search for a new dean at the Leeds School of Business has officially begun. Leeds already is a top 25 public business school; the next leader is expected to build on Leeds' academic reputation while advancing its commitment to diversity, excellence in entrepreneurship and relationships with the Boulder business community.

The search for the next dean of the Leeds School of Business is officially underway.

Russell Moore, provost of the 鶹Ƶ, announced the university has engaged a search firm to ensure Leeds identifies a dean who will build on the incredible work of Sharon Matusik, who was recruited to the nationally renown Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Yonca Ertimur, Tandean Rustandy esteemed professor, has helped maintain momentum on key priorities as acting dean.

“For this position, I am seeking a dean who will foster a positive environment for teaching, scholarship, research and service within and outside of the university,” Moore said. “The next dean will be expected to build on Leeds’ excellent reputation, Boulder’s unique startup ecosystem and our hub of national lab innovation to propel the school’s reputation to new heights.”
