Slaton Spangler is a CU Boulder graduate with a BS in computer science. His experience includes helping pilot a data-driven theater project, creating a motion-controlled interactive sign for the Boulder Public Library's maker space, managing a 100+ person maker space听and developing a variety of Internet-of-Things-related听systems. He is constantly working on multiple creative-technology projects to improve his skills and keep himself entertained.

Maker Made 2022 features work by ATLAS community

A group of six artists and technologists connected to the ATLAS community contributed to BLDG 61鈥檚 Maker Made 2022, which runs through March 28 at the Boulder Public Library. Zack Weaver, who played a key role in establishing the ATLAS BTU Lab and the show鈥檚 curator, says the inspiration for Maker Made goes back to his days at Carnegie Mellon with ATLAS Director Mark Gross.

A group of 14 artists and technologists connected to ATLAS contributed to the Museum of Boulder鈥檚 newest exhibit, 鈥淐onvivial Machines,鈥� which opened Oct. 30. It's the first museum installation for Boulder Experiments in Art and Technology (B.E.A.T), founded by Jiffer Harriman (ATLS PhD '16).
