Ronni Hayden is a PhD student in Creative Technology and Design advised by听. She graduated from Northwestern University鈥檚 School of Education and Social Policy with a degree in learning sciences and a concentration in the design of learning environments. As part of the听 research group, Ronni has supported qualitative research that draws on community-engaged, ethnographic, and design-based methods within two multi-institutional, collaborative research projects: the听 (FCL) program and the (FCT) project. Hayden's dissertation research is focused on the role of infrastructures within learning ecologies and how we can effectively design educational interventions that enable equitable experiences with computing. Hayden's research has been published in peer-reviewed venues including the International Conference of the Learning Sciences, the Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work & Social Computing, and the Journal of Information and Learning Sciences. In addition to sharing work through academic venues, she has also connected and disseminated her work with educators and designers across museums, libraries, and school settings in the form of guides, zines, blog posts and workshops.
