After attending the University of California Berkely for Chemistry, Gregory Whiting got a doctorate of philosophy at the University of Cambridge. Since then, he has worked at the Palo Alto Research Center and Google[X].

Whiting's research interests include Additive and Digital Manufacturing, Printed and Flexible Electronics, Transient Electronics, Distributed Sensor Systems.
