Kelsey Hoppes received her Bachelor ofÌýArts in Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019 and her Masters in Anthropology from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2022. She is a Ph.D. candidate who specializes in the Great Plains pottery. Her advisor is Dr. Douglas Bamforth, and the committee consists of Dr. Samantha Fladd (Washington State University), Dr. Scott Ortman, Dr. Sarah Kurnick, and Dr. Jen Birch (University of Georgia). Kelsey's research interests include ethnogenesis, community social identities, bending of material culture, Plains Village archaeology, and social processes of coalescing.ÌýÌýÌý
