SeeÌýBelow is guidance from the CU Boulder Office of International Admissions:

To be considered for an application fee waiver, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have started an online application for your graduate program of interest.
  • We recommend completing as much of the application as possible. The process to receive the fee waiver is competitive so the more information you provide - such as a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and especially your transcripts - the better we will be able to assess your qualifications.Ìý
  • Have the means to pay for your graduate program of interest.Ìý
  • This can include funding from department to which you are applying, through a government sponsorship or scholarship, through an international fellowship (such as Fulbright), or by employer funding.Ìý
  • While PhD students are guaranteed funding, master’s students are not. If you are applying to a master’s program that does not offer funding to a significant number of students, you will likely not be considered for an application fee waiver. Ìý
  • Meet the minimum eligibility criteria for your program of interest, including minimum GPA requirements and prerequisites.
  • Meet our English proficiency requirements.

If you meet the minimum requirements outlined above, please complete the 2024 International Application Fee Waiver Request Form: . Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions intlgrad@colorado.edu.
