Adi Prakash is a PhD student in Cultural Anthropology with research interests in language, reciprocity and ritual assertions among the Lepcha in the Eastern Himalaya. Adi received his BA in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, an MA in Development Studies from The Tata Institute of Social Sciences and an MS in Journalism from The Medill School of Journalism. He is advised by Prof Carole McGranahan and Prof Jerry Jacka.Ìý

Prior to joining CU, Adi spent seven years making documentary films in India. He has also filmed and produced documentaries in Pakistan and the US.
