Megan K. Friedel is Assistant Professor, Lead Archivist, and Head of Collections Management and Stewardship for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections (RaD).Ìý Professor Friedel manages all operations of RaD’s Archives, as well as collection management issues across all four of RaD’s collecting areas (Archives, Government Information, Maps, and Rare Books). She has worked as an archivist for over two decades in both academic archives and state historical societies. ÌýA lifelong musician, Professor Friedel is proud to support RaD’s work preserving and providing access to the American Music Research Center archival collections, stewarded by the University Libraries in partnership with the AMRC.
