Hisako Schibli received a Master's degree in Japanese Language and Civilization from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. She taught at Metropolitan State University of Denver and Red Rocks Community College before joining CU. She is concurrently a Director of the Japanese Academy of the Rockies, which provides unique experiences for children through adults to help them learn, maintain and develop Japanese language skills.
