Hisako Schibli,ÌýTeaching Assistant Professor of Japanese, was elected as president of (CJLEA) during their fall assemby on Saturday, November 4. Her term begins on January 1, 2024. Congratulations, Hisako! The CJLEA serves as an important resource among the teachers of Japanese Language and Cultures in Colorado and surrounding areas. They hold the annual Japanese Speech Contest and are partnered to host the Japan Cup with Japan America Society of Colorado, which our students participate every year.
