Minor in Philosophy

The minor in philosophy is offered to students interested in exploring logic, the use of language, and the theory of knowledge to develop analytic, logical reasoning and creative skills. The program establishes valuable and in-demand skills, preparing students with the critical-thinking expertise needed for the modern workforce.

Academic Plan & Requirements

To earn a minor in philosophy, students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours in philosophy courses. The minor is open to all undergraduate students at CU Boulder, regardless of college or school.
