To review this search process, last May I named Yonca Ertimur acting dean of the Leeds School, following the summer departure of Sharon Matusik. In August, I named , dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, to chair the search advisory committee and engaged the executive search firm to assist. I plan to name a permanent dean in spring 2023.
I’d like to thank Dean Molenaar, the search advisory committee, and the consultants at Isaacson, Miller for their combined efforts that resulted in these extremely strong finalists. I’d also like to thank Acting Dean Ertimur for her continued leadership.
Thank you for your commitment to Leeds and your engagement in this search for your next dean. If you have any questions on the search process, please direct them to Dean Molenaar.
Sincerely,
Russ
